ERYTHROmycin is a macrolide antibiotic used in dogs and cats to treat certain bacterial infections and as a prokinetic agent for gastrointestinal motility issues. Orally, it can address infections like skin and respiratory infections in pets, and at lower doses it is sometimes used to help stomach emptying in disorders like delayed gastric emptying, providing dual benefits in veterinary care.
