TrizEDTA Flush is a gentle, non-stinging, and alkaline buffer solution used to cleanse the ears and skin of dogs, cats, and horses. It is specifically formulated to treat and prevent bacterial infections, particularly those caused by Pseudomonas, by disrupting the bacterial cell wall and making the bacteria more susceptible to antibiotics. Its water-based, alcohol-free formula makes it safe for long-term maintenance and for pets with sensitive or inflamed skin.

The active ingredients are Tromethamine USP and Disodium EDTA Dihydrate (together known as TrizEDTA); the inactive ingredients include Deionized Water.

To use as an ear flush, fill the ear canal with the solution and gently but firmly massage the base of the ear to loosen debris, then use a cotton ball to wipe away any excess liquid. For skin use, squeeze the flush directly onto the affected area and wipe with a cotton ball. Repeat as necessary or as directed by your veterinarian, typically once or twice daily for active cleaning or once weekly for maintenance.

TrizEDTA / TrizULTRA Flush is an ear flush. It is a buffered flush that supports ear cleanliness; the Keto version adds ketoconazole for antifungal support. Use per the labeling.

This is an over-the-counter product for external use. Use according to the product labeling and your veterinarian's guidance; it is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Available through Mixlab.

For external use only; avoid the eyes and do not use on deep or puncture wounds without veterinary guidance. Follow the label for frequency and discontinue if you notice irritation. Contact your veterinarian if the skin or ear condition worsens or does not improve.

Do I need a prescription for this?

No. This is an over-the-counter product available through Mixlab. Your veterinarian can advise whether it fits your pet's care.

What's the difference between TrizEDTA and TrizULTRA + Keto?

TrizEDTA is a buffered ear flush; the TrizULTRA + Keto version adds ketoconazole. Your veterinarian can advise which fits your pet.

How is it used?

Follow the product labeling for frequency and method of use.

When should I see my veterinarian?

If the condition persists or worsens, see your veterinarian, since some issues need treatment beyond routine care.
