Terbinafine is an oral antifungal medication (allylamine class) used in dogs, cats, and other pets to treat fungal infections such as ringworm (dermatophytosis) or yeast infections of the skin and claws. It works by inhibiting fungal cell wall synthesis, helping to clear stubborn fungal infections over several weeks of therapy.
