Pregabalin is a neurological medication given orally to dogs and cats to manage neuropathic pain, control seizures, or reduce anxiety. It calms overactive nerve signals and is often prescribed as a pet pain medication for nerve-related pain (similar to gabapentin) and as an adjunct anticonvulsant for refractory seizures under veterinary guidance.
