To achieve the best results for your pet, begin administering both the paste and the capsules on the same day. For the short-term management of loose stools, the Proviable-KP Paste should be given by mouth two to three times daily for 48 to 72 hours. The appropriate dose is 1 mL for cats, 1 to 2 mL for dogs under 20 lbs, 3 to 4 mL for dogs between 21 and 50 lbs, and 5 mL for dogs weighing over 50 lbs. Alongside the paste, administer one Proviable-DC Capsule once daily for the full 10-day course, regardless of the pet's weight. These capsules may be given whole as a treat or opened and sprinkled directly onto the pet’s food for easier consumption.
