Naraquin™ Dietary Phosphate Binder + Renal Support is an advanced nutritional supplement from Nutramax Laboratories designed to support kidney function in dogs and cats. It utilizes a multimodal approach by combining three different phosphate binders to reduce the amount of phosphorus and protein byproducts absorbed from the digestive tract. By lowering the workload on the kidneys, it helps maintain renal health, while added antioxidants and fatty acids provide additional cellular support.

The active ingredients (per sprinkle capsule) include 150 mg Ferric Citrate, 40 mg Calcium Acetate, 40 mg Chitosan, and 140 mg of a proprietary blend (NMX580®) consisting of Marine Lipids and Beta (1,3)/(1,6) Glucans, providing 25 mg of Total Omega-3 Fatty Acids.

To ensure the best results, Naraquin capsules should be opened and the contents sprinkled directly onto your pet’s food during every meal. For cats, the standard administration is one capsule per meal. For dogs, administer one capsule for every 25 pounds of body weight with each meal. Because this supplement works by binding to the phosphorus found in food, it is most effective when given at the time of feeding rather than on an empty stomach. Your veterinarian may adjust these administration levels based on your pet's specific blood work and needs.
