Miconazole 2% Cream is a highly effective antifungal treatment suitable for use in dogs, cats, and horses. It is specifically designed to treat common fungal skin infections such as ringworm (Microsporum and Trichophyton species) and yeast infections caused by Malassezia pachydermatis. By targeting the infection directly at the source, it helps relieve the itching, redness, and discomfort associated with these conditions, promoting faster healing of the skin and hair coat across these different species.

The active ingredient in this formulation is 2% Miconazole Nitrate (20 mg per gram).

To administer this medication, first clean and dry the affected area thoroughly and, if necessary, clip away excess hair to ensure the cream makes direct contact with the skin. Apply a thin layer of the cream to the infected site once or twice daily for two to four weeks, or as specifically directed by your veterinarian. It is important to prevent your pet from licking or grooming the area for at least ten to fifteen minutes after application to ensure the medication is properly absorbed and to avoid accidental ingestion.

Miconazole 2% Cream is a topical antifungal cream. Miconazole is an azole antifungal for topical use; use per the labeling and your veterinarian's guidance.

This is an over-the-counter animal health product. Use according to the product labeling and your veterinarian's guidance. Available through Mixlab.
