Metoclopramide HCl is the same prokinetic/antiemetic drug metoclopramide in its hydrochloride salt form, used similarly in veterinary patients. It is administered to dogs and cats to control nausea and improve gastric motility in conditions like chronic gastritis or megaesophagus, enhancing stomach emptying and reducing regurgitation.
