Methimazole is an anti-thyroid medication used primarily in cats to treat hyperthyroidism (overactive thyroid). It’s given either orally (tablet or flavored liquid) or as a transdermal gel applied to the inner ear, and works by reducing thyroid hormone production, thereby managing symptoms like weight loss and hyperactivity in hyperthyroid cats.

Chew treats are flavored, soft treats that contain your pet’s medication—making giving meds as easy as offering a snack!
