A balanced crystalloid fluid solution commonly used for rehydration and electrolyte replenishment in veterinary patients. Lactated Ringer’s Solution is administered intravenously (or subcutaneously in some cases) to treat dehydration, support circulation, and correct electrolyte imbalances in sick or surgical animals, as it contains a mix of electrolytes and lactate which acts as a buffer.
