A broad-spectrum antifungal medication used in pets to treat infections caused by yeast and fungi. Commonly administered orally (tablet form) to dogs and sometimes cats for conditions like fungal skin infections, yeast dermatitis, or systemic fungal diseases, it works by interfering with fungal cell membranes; it can also be compounded into topical forms for local treatment.
