K9 Advantix II is a topical flea, tick and mosquito product for dogs. It contains imidacloprid, permethrin and pyriproxyfen, which act on external parasites and their stages. For dogs only — do not use on cats. Apply per the EPA-registered labeling for the correct weight.

This is an EPA-registered product. Use only according to the product labeling, apply to the correct species and weight range and keep out of reach of children. Available through Mixlab.

Use only the spot-on made for your pet's species and weight — never use a dog product on a cat. Apply to intact skin where the pet cannot lick it and keep treated pets separated until the area dries. Wash your hands after handling and keep the product out of reach of children. Contact your veterinarian if you notice application-site irritation, drooling or unusual behavior.

Do I need a prescription for this?

No. This is an over-the-counter product available through Mixlab. Your veterinarian can advise whether it fits your pet's care.

Can K9 Advantix II be used on cats?

No. K9 Advantix II is for dogs only and can be harmful to cats. Keep treated dogs away from cats until the application is dry.

No. Use only the product labeled for your pet's species and weight; some dog products are unsafe for cats.

How often do I use it?

Follow the reapplication or replacement interval on the product labeling.
