Famotidine is an H2-receptor antagonist (acid reducer) used in dogs and cats to decrease stomach acid production for conditions like gastritis, gastric ulcers, or reflux esophagitis. Given orally (or via injection in clinical settings), famotidine helps protect the stomach and intestines by reducing acidity, which in turn assists in healing of ulcerations and relief of acid-related discomfort in pets.
Chew treats are flavored, soft treats that contain your pet’s medication—making giving meds as easy as offering a snack!
