Elura® (capromorelin oral solution) is an FDA-approved appetite stimulant for cats, indicated for the management of weight loss in cats with chronic kidney disease. Given orally as a sweetened liquid, it acts as a ghrelin receptor agonist to safely increase appetite and promote weight gain in underweight or CKD-afflicted feline patients, improving their nutritional status.
