Elevate Maintenance Powder is a natural-source vitamin E supplement, dispensed by Mixlab to support everyday antioxidant and muscle health needs in horses. This is a dietary supplement and is not FDA-approved or evaluated for the treatment, cure, or prevention of any disease.

Powder medications are meant to be mixed into food or treats, not given on their own (since most pets won’t lick up plain powder). The key is to mix it into something tasty so your pet eats the entire dose.

How to Give It:

  1. Measure the dose using the included scoop or follow the instructions. If you’re unsure how much to give, ask your vet or pharmacist.
  2. Mix it with a small amount of soft food or treat—like wet food, baby food (meat flavor), peanut butter (xylitol-free), yogurt, or cheese. Use just enough to hide the powder so your pet finishes it all in one go.
  3. Stir it well to blend the powder in evenly. Add a splash of water if needed to make it smoother.
  4. Offer it when your pet is a little hungry, and watch to make sure they eat the whole thing.
  5. If your pet refuses, try something else they love next time. For cats, you can also try smearing the paste on their paw to lick off (only if safe and comfortable).
  6. For large animals, mix the powder into a small portion of feed with water or molasses, then follow with the rest of their food once they’ve eaten the medicated part.
  7. Store the powder in a cool, dry place with the lid closed tightly.

Never give powder straight into your pet’s mouth—it can be dangerous if inhaled.

Elevate Maintenance Powder provides natural-source vitamin E, an antioxidant that supports normal muscle and nerve function. It is intended as a nutritional supplement for horses with typical vitamin E needs, such as those with limited access to fresh pasture, the primary natural source of vitamin E. This product has not been evaluated by the FDA and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Consult your veterinarian to determine whether your horse's diet needs additional vitamin E, and at what amount.

Follow the feeding directions on the label or your veterinarian's recommendation, since vitamin E needs vary based on diet, workload, and access to fresh forage. This product is intended for horses with typical maintenance needs; horses with a diagnosed vitamin E deficiency or muscle disease may need a different form or higher dose, determined by your veterinarian, often guided by bloodwork.

Is Elevate Maintenance Powder a medication?

No. It is a dietary supplement intended to support normal vitamin E levels in horses with typical needs. It is not FDA-approved and is not intended to treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

Do I need a prescription for this supplement?

No prescription is required, though your veterinarian can help you decide whether it fits your horse's diet.

What is Elevate Maintenance Powder used for?

It supplies natural-source vitamin E to help support normal muscle and nerve function in horses, particularly those with limited fresh pasture access.
