Decoquinate/Levamisole HCl/Elevate is a compounded oral combination used in veterinary medicine, particularly for horses. It includes decoquinate (an anticoccidial agent), levamisole (an antiparasitic with immune-stimulating properties), and Elevate® (a vitamin E supplement), and is employed under veterinary guidance in protocols such as those for equine protozoal myeloencephalitis (EPM) to pair parasite control with immune and antioxidant support.
Powder medications are meant to be mixed into food or treats, not given on their own (since most pets won’t lick up plain powder). The key is to mix it into something tasty so your pet eats the entire dose.
How to Give It:
Never give powder straight into your pet’s mouth—it can be dangerous if inhaled.
