Dasuquin® Chewable Tablets are a high-quality joint support supplement designed to protect cartilage and support joint function in dogs of all sizes. These tasty, liver-flavored tablets can be given as a treat or crumbled into food. They are available in two strengths: Small to Medium Dog (under 60 lbs) and Large Dog (60 lbs and over).

Active Ingredients (Small/Medium Tablet): 600 mg Glucosamine Hydrochloride, 250 mg Sodium Chondroitin Sulfate, and 45 mg Avocado/Soybean Unsaponifiables (ASU) Powder.

To achieve the best results, start your dog on a "loading" dose for the first four to six weeks before moving to a lower maintenance level. Dogs under 10 lbs should receive one-half tablet daily, while dogs 10 to 29 lbs should start with one tablet daily and dogs 30 to 59 lbs should start with two tablets daily; after the initial period, these doses are typically halved.

Dasuquin is a joint health supplement combining glucosamine hydrochloride, chondroitin sulfate, and avocado/soybean unsaponifiables (ASU), ingredients studied in the context of joint comfort and cartilage health. It's provided as a chewable tablet.

Glucosamine and chondroitin, together with ASU, are building blocks involved in cartilage structure and are widely studied nutraceutical ingredients for joint support. As a supplement, this combination is not reviewed or approved by the FDA in the way a drug would be; your veterinarian determines whether a joint supplement is appropriate for your dog's needs.

This description reflects general information about the supplement's ingredients; your veterinarian determines whether this product is appropriate for your animal.

This information describes a dietary supplement. Supplements are not evaluated by the FDA for safety or effectiveness and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Consult your veterinarian before use.

This supplement is generally well tolerated; mild digestive changes such as soft stool or decreased appetite are occasionally reported, particularly when starting the supplement. Contact your veterinarian if these effects persist or if you notice vomiting, diarrhea, or other signs of concern. Glucosamine in this product is commonly derived from shellfish; let your veterinarian know if your dog has a known shellfish sensitivity. As with any supplement, keep your veterinarian informed of everything your dog receives so they can watch for potential interactions and confirm the product remains appropriate for your dog.

Do I need a prescription for this supplement?
