Clavamox® (amoxicillin trihydrate/clavulanate potassium) is a broad-spectrum antibiotic for dogs and cats, available in tablets or oral suspension. Made by Zoetis, this penicillin-class combination treats bacterial infections such as skin infections, wounds, and urinary tract infections by using clavulanic acid to enhance amoxicillin’s effectiveness against resistant bacteria.
