Bene-Bac Plus Pet Gel combines several strains of beneficial bacteria — including Bifidobacterium bifidum, Enterococcus faecium, and multiple Lactobacillus species — with fructooligosaccharides (FOS), a prebiotic fiber that helps support their growth. Together, these ingredients are intended to help maintain normal gut microflora in dogs and cats. It's commonly given during dietary changes, travel, or other routine disruptions to digestive balance.

Bene-Bac Plus Pet Gel is intended for intermittent or supplemental feeding, not as a primary source of nutrition. Follow the feeding directions on the package, starting with about half the recommended amount for the first two to three days before moving to a full serving. Talk to your veterinarian if your pet has ongoing digestive concerns.

Do I need a prescription for Bene-Bac Plus Pet Gel?

No. This is an over-the-counter product, available without a prescription.

What is Bene-Bac Plus Pet Gel used for?

It's a probiotic and prebiotic gel supplement intended to help support normal gut microflora in dogs and cats.

How is it given?

It can be given directly in the mouth or mixed into food, following the directions on the package.

Can I give this to both my cat and my dog?
